Sweet & Sour Coleslaw

Sweet and Sour Coleslaw

Start with a bag of shredded slaw mix then add a simple, sweet and sour dressing for a healthy side dish.

  • Servings: 6


1× 16 oz bag Coleslaw Mix
½ cup Sugar
½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
¼ cup Canola Oil
1 Tbsp Yellow Mustard
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Black Pepper


In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, vinegar, oil, mustard, salt and pepper. Gently boil for 1 minute, while whisking constantly. Place slaw mix in a large bowl. Pour dressing mix over slaw and mix well. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Toss before serving.

Helpful Tips:

May substitute vegetable oil for canola, and brown mustard for yellow mustard.
